With Swami Gangananda

IN PERSON OR ONLINE
A Zoom link will be sent to online registrants at least an hour before the first class.

This class offers a thoughtful introduction to the historical, cultural, and spiritual background of the Bhagavad Gita, exploring its setting within the epic Mahabharata and the deeper symbolism of the dialogue between Arjuna and Krishna. Participants will gain insight into the circumstances that gave rise to this timeless teaching, the meaning of the battlefield as a metaphor for inner struggle, and the relevance of the Gita’s message for modern life. Through guided discussion and reflection, the session helps students appreciate the context in which the teachings were given, making the wisdom of the text more accessible, meaningful, and applicable to one’s own spiritual and daily journey. Let go of fear, confusion and anxiety. Gain inner strength and confidence.

We are getting to the end of the Gita in our Friday study and will be starting from the beginning again! Please join us at 6:30pm PST for a weekly deep dive. The ancient teachings are as relevant today as ever.
