ESTABLISH YOUR PRACTICE
This course—onsite or online—builds on the foundation laid in Yoga 1 and gives the opportunity to build up a solid practice, including all the basic postures and breathing exercises in a proper sequence. Emphasis is placed on holding postures longer and making smooth transitions between postures. Some variations of the basic postures are introduced. Training in the headstand is offered for those who are ready. This is an ideal refresher class for those who have lapsed in their practice. It is also suitable for experienced practitioners who are new to the Sivananda Yoga Center.
Duration: 5 sessions, once per week, 90 minutes each
Note that it is possible to continue on with Yoga 3, Yoga 4, etc.
