Positive Thinking 1

Explores the art and practice of positive thinking as a way to lead to a happier and more balanced life. You’ll begin to examine the nature of your thoughts and learn to transform them, making way for a calmer mind and better relationships.

Topics include:

  • The nature of thought
  • The nature of the self according to Vedanta
  • How to deal with unwanted thoughts
  • Breaking negative thought patterns
  • Transforming negative emotions
  • Managing the stresses of daily life
  • How to turn obstacles to one’s advantage

Duration: 5 sessions, once per week, 90 minutes each
Tuition: $125 (members $115)

Positive Thinking 2

Continue exploring supportive attitudes and techniques, now based on the four classical paths of Yoga. The practice of Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga and Jnana Yoga all lead to freedom. The paths are many, but the Truth is one. 

Develop your personal strategy for growth. Establish good habits. By regularly doing a little good at a time in a balanced manner, you will find peace of mind. With careful introspection, you are sure to see the results.
