Relax, Restore and Rejuvenate
Need a little rest and quiet before the holidays?
This is a great gift for yourself or someone you love.
Enjoy three two-hour full-body treatments (one per day) with Mahadevika, eat a simple diet to rest the digestive system. Attend a cooking workshop on the benefits of kitchari according to Ayurveda. Join morning Satsang and yoga classes. Rest. Read. Rest. Rest some more.
During Bliss therapy treatments the body goes into a deep place of stillness and restoration. When you are able to do consecutive treatments, the healing builds and results will be more profound.
Here’s what you’ll enjoy over the weekend:
• THREE 2-hour Bliss Therapy Treatments
Be transformed. Each luxurious full-body treatment includes three holistic therapies (Abhyanga, Shirodhara and Swedana) flowing one after the other—a full two hours of bliss. Derived from an ancient Indian tradition, these treatments are designed to restore balance and reestablish calm and harmony—for mind, body and spirit. They are deeply cleansing, purifying and uplifting.
First, enjoy the Abhyanga. This beautiful rhythmic full-body massage uses warm herb-infused oils specific to your constitution. It penetrates deep layers of tissue, leaving you with a feeling of stability, warmth and comfort. Next comes Shirodhara—a soothing stream of warm medicated oil flowing over your forehead. Instant calm. Last comes Swedhana, a full-body herbal steam treatment, which nourishes the skin and removes toxins.
Then plan to relax in the garden with a cup of tea.
A diet of Kitchari resets the digestive system and supports the elimination of toxins from the bowels. This diet removes heaviness and congestion, and supports a healthy body weight or weight loss. Post cleanse, you will feel light and happy.
