Monday, May 17, 2021 @ 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Mondays, May 17–June 14 @ 5:30 – 7:00 pm
ONLINE COURSE: This 5-session course will take place via Zoom. Registrants will be sent a link at least an hour before the first class.
Stress is an automatic response to alert you of danger. When it is perceived as an ongoing threat, however, it wreaks havoc on the body and its various systems. The body cannot find homeostasis with a red light continually flashing. Physical symptoms erupt with their origin in the leaden mind. The body’s resistance is low. Yoga gives us tools to regain our resilience. We consciously build our vital energy.
We watch our thoughts and switch them to positive. We become more flexible in our responses, even to stressors. Yoga show us we are not alone; we are an essential link in a vast web of life. When we participate fully, we experience richness in every moment. The Covid-19 pandemic can be our teacher. Your response is in your hands.
Expect a couple of special guest appearances during the course!
- the 5 causes of stress
- physiology and symptoms of stress
- awareness practices
- approaches to channel prana positively
