There is a lot of interest in meditation these days, but what is it exactly? Research shows that it is beneficial for mental health and stress relief. You can learn to choose the thoughts in your mind. You can learn to drop thoughts that you don’t want to entertain in your mind. You are not a victim of your mind.
Meditation is not escaping, daydreaming, or the pursuit of psychic powers. Ultimately, we meditate to find inner peace and happiness. We come to recognize our vain search for fulfillment and answers outside ourselves. When this sincere realization dawns, we are ready.
Learn a practice you can do anywhere, any time. Build the self-discipline of regularity and watch the mind evolve.
