PRESENTERS

Swami Sitaramananda is a yogini and yoga and meditation teacher with 39 years of experience. She has been director of the Sivananda Ashram Vedanta Yoga Farm for 25 years and now is also director of the Sivananda Ashram Yoga resort in Vietnam. She is the main teacher in the 800-hour Yoga health Educator Training and has taught for many years in India, China, Japan, and Taiwan. Swamiji is a senior disciple of swami Vishnudevananda and is a talented spiritual teacher with a clear and humoristic explanation of difficult philosophical topics. Gail McManus is a practicing Communications Counselor and Mediator, having trained with many skilled leaders in the field including Marshall Rosenberg. Gail enjoys sharing the highly successful way toward improved self-awareness and connection with others known as Nonviolent Communication. www.gailmcmanus.com

Dr. Bharathi A.V., BAMS, FAIHM, YIC, is a passionate Ayurveda Practitioner, Speaker, and Educator with over 20 years of clinical experience. She believes in working together with her clients as a team in creating health and balance. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda (BAMS), from Bangalore University, India. Dr. Bharathi is a Fellow in Integrative Medicine from the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. She is a researcher who has also co-authored several scientific publications. Dr. Bharathi has been practicing in Orange County for over 16 years. Her areas of expertise include managing digestive imbalances, healthy weight management, post oncology integrative care, Ayurveda detoxification and chronic pain management.

Swami Sivasankariananda has 23 years experience of teaching both in San Francisco Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center and Los Angeles Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center where she is serving as director. She is a member of the faculty of the Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Training program. A compassionate teacher, she is able to convey devotion and enthusiasm through kirtan and Bhakti Yoga teachings.
