Health is based on discipline of the mind and body. Much has been written about it. It can be summed up in the five basic points that form the foundation of what we teach at Sivananda Yoga. Actively integrating them into our lifestyle will bring the desired results. Balance is key.

The mind will baulk at excessive discipline. Stress ensues. Beginners on the spiritual path are vexed by miscellaneous thoughts of duty. The mind ever seeks to veil Truth.

Self care is self-love. When does it become selfish?
