Addiction: A Disease of Will Power with David Ibrahim

Saturday, April 15, 2023 @ (PDT) 2:00 PM 3:30 PM PDT

IN PERSON OR ONLINE

When facing addiction, we often view the person as making poor choices and ending up an addict who is not “willing” to stop. David has watched hundreds of people fall prey to addiction’s power over the brain—even though they were desperate to stop. From a clinical perspective, the “choice center” in the brain is hijacked by the addiction and, essentially, one’s will power is thrown offline and rendered useless. Staying sober/clean requires will power.

Take a detailed walk through this complicated process of chemical reactions in the brain. Then hear suggestions and solutions to strengthen personal power to help stop the process of the brain from being hijacked by addiction.
