With Swami Divyananda, C-IAYT
What is a thought? What is the mind? And what does it really mean to be “negative”?
In the science of Raja Yoga, thoughts are waves that rise and fall in the lake of the mind. The mind itself is an instrument — powerful, creative, but often restless. Negativity appears when these waves are clouded by fear, attachment, or misunderstanding.
In this workshop, we will explore how the ancient teachings of Yoga explain the nature of the mind, the root of negative thinking, and the practical steps to transform these patterns into peace, clarity, and light. Through awareness and yogic practice, you will learn how to guide your mind instead of being driven by it.
Swami Divyananda is a yoga teacher from Vietnam and a sannyasin in the Sivananda tradition. She started practicing yoga at the age of 20 and completed her TTC in 2016, SYHET in 2020, and ATTC in 2022. She served full-time for five years at the Ho Chi Minh City Center and four years at the Da Lat Ashram. Swami Divyananda shares the teachings of Hatha Yoga, meditation, and kirtan with devotion and clarity. She loves music, sings kirtan, and plays instruments, bringing joy and presence to all she does.. . .
