ONLINE Yoga Class for Children

FOR CHILDREN AGES 6–11
Zoom link will be sent to registrants at least an hour before the event. Parents welcome to participate.
Children who learn yoga at an early age have a healthy head start in life. This is especially important in our fast-paced and stressful world. In principle, children of any age can start practicing yoga, but from age six or seven on, they tend to have an easier time paying attention.
In class, we will focus on breathing, active movement, singing and relaxing.
Fitness for both body and mind
Through yoga, children learn in a playful way to concentrate. The exercises improve their motor skills, train their sense of balance and as a result boost their overall health and physical fitness. By taking part in the yoga classes, children also develop important social skills. Regular yoga practice offers effective help for example with learning disorders, hyperactivity, stress and lack of exercise. Moreover, yoga increases self-confidence—and is a lot of fun besides!
