Food & Ayurveda with Rashee Rohatgi

Ayurveda is the ancient science of healing and wellness from India.

We start our session with a class on Ayurvedic principles and how those can be applied to our food and lifestyle choices to create balance. We delve into proper food combining; medicinal properties of herbs and spices; ways to heal and nurture our digestive fire; mindful eating; and more.
3:30–5:30pm PST
Hands-on cooking:
Indian street foods
• Papri Chaat with Potatos, Beets, Chickpeas and Chutneys (Indian street snack)
• Rooiboos chai
Then FEAST! Enjoy the wholesome meal we’ve created together.

Rashee offers Ayurvedic consultations and cooking classes. Rashee will determine your constitution, appraise the balance of your doshas, the health of your dhatus (tissues), the strength of your agni (digestive fire), as well as your ojas (immunity) and sattva (mental harmony).
