3-Day Weekend Intensive with Acharya Swami Sitaramananda

ONSITE OR ONLINE VIA ZOOM

FRIDAY, JULY 9

12:30–2:00pm – Recharge Your Prana
To improve your quality of life requires vital energy. A mind overflowing with thoughts and desires is a drain on your prana. Maintain good health, choose your lifestyle wisely and live in alignment with nature to boost your supply.

2:15–3:45pm – Asana Class • taught by Swami Dharmananda

4:00–5:30pm – Positive Thought
The thought world is more real than the material world even though we think the opposite. You are responsible for your thoughts and can exert to transform them, uplifting yourself and those around you.

SATURDAY, JULY 10

12:30–2:00pm – Adaptability
Flexibility of mind and a life free from stress requires openness—letting go of ownership and recognizing our false identification with that which is impermanent. Swami Sivananda trains us to “adapt, adjust, accommodate” and to “bear insult, bear injury” as the “highest yoga.”

2:15–3:45pm – Asana Class taught by Swami Dharmananda

4:00–5:30pm – Stay Detached /Philosophy of the Self
No one can predict or control life, yet we function under the illusion that we are in control and become anxious when we are not. Practice living this life, which is constantly changing, day by day. Have faith. Remain stable against all odds. Learn to see the absolute, the level of ourselves which is untouched.

SUNDAY, JULY 11

12:30–2:00pm – How to Meditate in Daily Life
Access the intuitive knowledge within you, the knowledge that is immediate, deep within you, that does not make a mistake and solves all problems. That knowledge is behind and beyond the conscious mind, the emotions and the instincts. Let go of trying to figure things out.

2:15–3:45pm – Asana Class taught by Swami Dharmananda
