Please join us for a summer evening yoga class with a view and watch the sun go down from the historic Bendix Building in heart of the fashion district.

Rooftop Yoga: Urban Escape
We invite you to a place beyond the noise of the city, beyond the increasing stresses of daily life, to a place you may not have visited for some time. Trust the ancient wisdom of Yoga to guide you to listen in a new way, breathe in a new way, open and relax—together. Surrender to pranayama, sun salutations, lots of “delicious” stretching and a series of classic poses. Shut out everything else. The secret is in the letting go. Relax deeply. Regain your energy for the rest of the week—and get your best night’s sleep.
 
All levels are welcome. This class is perfect for you if you are looking for peace, but don’t know how to slow down.

Bring a yoga mat and a jacket.

Before/After Class: There is space for participants to gather before and after class in the office living room and rooftop areas. There are also several cafés and restaurants within walking distance in the Arts District for anyone who would like to grab a meal.

Parking: There is street parking available in the surrounding area, as well as several paid parking lots nearby. Street parking is free after 6:00pm.

This event is part of a series of Rooftop Pop-Up Events this summer at the Bendix Building presented by Heidi Duckler Dance. All proceeds for this event go to Sivananda Yoga.
