Ayurveda Retreat: What’s My Dosha?
Friday, January 5, 2024 @ (PDT) 4:00 PM – Sunday, January 7, 2024 @ (PDT) 4:00 PM PDT
IN PERSON OR ONLINE
Understanding your Ayurvedic dosha can provide valuable insights into your unique mind-body constitution and help you make informed lifestyle choices for optimal health. Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine originating in India, classifies individuals into three primary doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—based on the predominance of certain elemental qualities. By identifying your dominant dosha, you gain awareness of your inherent strengths and susceptibilities. This knowledge allows you to tailor your diet, exercise routine, and daily habits to balance your dosha, promoting harmony within your body and mind.
Knowing your Ayurvedic dosha enables you to address health concerns and prevent imbalances before they manifest as dis-ease. Ayurveda emphasizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit, viewing health as a state of equilibrium. By aligning your lifestyle choices with the recommendations for your dosha, you can foster a sense of vitality, mental clarity, and emotional stability.
