Paint a Sri Yantra
Saturday, October 5, 2024 @ (PDT) 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM UTC+0
If you have drawn and painted the Ganesha Yantra, try your hand at a more complex example of sacred geometry. The powerful Sri Yantra is comprised of nine interlocking triangles. Four upward-facing triangles signify Siva and five downward-facing triangles represent Shakti. The interplay of opposites—nature and consciousness—represents the cosmic order. The yantra can be used for worship, devotion and meditation.
Participants work at their own pace. All materials provided, but you are welcome to bring a pencil, eraser, compass and/or straight edge with metric measurements. No experience necessary.
