ONLINE Swami Sivasankariananda Shastapurthi Celebration

Please join us for a special puja celebrating 60 years of the life of Swami Sivasankariananda. The ceremony, performed by Vedic priest Swami Vasishtananda, will stream online live from the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, CA. There will be a short home, or fire ceremony, at 2:00pm.
Swami Sivasankariananda took her first Sivananda Yoga class in Los Angeles in the early 1990s and fondly remembers the early days of heart opening on Abbot Kinney in Venice where she practiced daily. Aspiration took her to India and TTC and Mount Kailas. She is now back in Los Angeles, directing our beautiful new Center! In between, she spent time as staff at the Yoga Farm and as director of the San Francisco Center. She cannot image a role more fulfilling as the one she currently enjoys.
