Memorial Day Weekend: Swami Sitaramananda on Mental Health

Friday, May 26, 2023 @ 4:00 PM Monday, May 29, 2023 @ 3:00 PM PDT

“Yoga health” is very different from the mainstream definition of health. The word Yoga means union, completeness, wholeness of body, mind and spirit. By self-healing, we become whole, perfect and complete. It’s the most essential topic because it’s about you. It’s about your life. It’s about healing from suffering—physical, mental, emotional. When you don’t know why you are here, it can be also spiritual; you feel that you are in darkness.
When the mind is agitated, restless, fearful, always looking for something, running, jumping, hiding, the mind is not clear. You are not peaceful, you’re not happy. It is important to calm your mind down so that you can recognize yourself.

By contemplation, you realize the Self. According to Vedanta philosophy, the nature of
the Self is happiness and knowledge.

We hope you can join us for this special retreat. Take time for yourself.
