A mala or rosary has 108 beads that are connected to each other. Wearing a rosary around your neck not only protects you from negative energies, but also aids you in progressing in your spiritual practice.
Discover many ways to make a beautiful rosary and send energy into the rosary. Create a connection between you and the rosary. Making a rosary by hand will awaken the power of the rosary, energizing your personal practice, and providing you with a meditative experience throughout.

You will need:
109 beads (6–8mm, preferably wood or stone)
Sturdy cord (that fits through the hole in your beads)
All supplies will be provided, unless you’d prefer to bring your own.
Shakti Chaitanya, C-IAYT, graduated from the International Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Course 2015 in Vietnam. As staff of the Sivananda Yoga Resort in Vietnam, she has been in charge of training and operations since 2017. She enjoys teaching Gentle Yoga courses and meditation courses. She is a graduate of the 800-hour Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Training (2019). Currently, she is director of the Sivananda Yoga Health House, Dalat, Vietnam. She graduated from the training course to foster professional knowledge of Yoga instructors of the Vietnam Yoga Federation. She was a member of IAYT (International Association Yoga Therapy) in 2023.
