4th of July Weekend: Cherishing Community

Friday, July 1, 2022 Monday, July 4, 2022 PDT

IN-PERSON RETREAT

With Swami Sivasankariananda and Swami Pranavananda

Together, we are strong. The collective wisdom of community can solve many difficult issues. Social connection is essential.

The Yoga of Relationships
How can we benefit from better relationships? How do we create and sustain them? Why do they change? Yoga has some keys for understanding ourselves and others. There are many kinds of relationships and they occupy our minds and our lives more than we realize. Yoga teaches how to walk the middle path between independence and connection.

The Yoga of Compassion: Art of Communication
Here Yoga teaches about finding clarity in our sharing by the practice of empathy or feeling the experience of others without judgement.  Many people around the world have discovered the tremendous value of this awareness through some simple exercises and explanations.  Yoga helps this process by resolving the opposition of theory and actual life experiences gained by spiritual seekers.
