Join us for Hatha Yoga classes, breathwork, meditation, healthy vegetarian meals, and educational workshops in a supportive spiritual community at the LA Sivananda Yoga Center. Empower yourself with a holistic wellness routine.
This is a program of the Sivananda Institute of Health & Yoga. It offers guidance from the Five Points of Yoga in the Sivananda tradition and the Four Paths of Yoga.
This immersive course includes a 90-minute personal health review prior to the program (in person or via Zoom) and one-on-one mini-consultation at the conclusion. Follow-ups possible.
Daily Schedule

6:00–7:20am -Satsang (meditation, chanting, inspiring talk)
8:00am Light Breakfast
10:00–11:30am – Yoga Class: Gentle Asanas and Pranayama*
12:00pm – Vegetarian Lunch*
1:00–2:30pm – Workshop*
2:45–3:45pm – Relaxation Techniques*
3:45–4:00pm – Personal Check-ins or Mini-Consultations*
4:00pm – Karma Yoga
6:00pm – Dinner
Kamala is a 500-hr trained Sivananda Yoga Instructor and is completing her practicum in the 800-hr Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Training (SYHET). She worked as a nurse for 20 years and brings her compassionate, caring nature to her teaching. She is 100% dedicated to her spiritual values, being of service, teaching and the yogic lifestyle.

Arrive late afternoon on Wednesday
Depart at 4:00pm Sunday
What to bring
Slip-on shoes, indoor slippers, loose comfortable clothing, writing materials, meditation shawl (if you have one) and water bottle.
If convenient, please bring your yoga mat. Otherwise, we have them to lend. If you have a sitting cushion you’d like to bring, you are welcome to do so.
