Relaxation for Busy People

In-person participants will be required to show a vaccination card. Class will be held outdoors on the deck.
A Zoom link will be sent to online registrants within one hour of the workshop start time.

The following topics will be discussed:
1. Prana: how to increase and conserve prana, teachings on prana. When you have more prana, you have less stress as you can handle it better, have better perspective—are able to be more resilient, more resourceful.
2. Emotions: how to turn negative emotions around, so they don’t aggravate and hurt you. Learn practical techniques. Replace fear and anxiety with faith and courage. Mentally relax. Focus on the positive like a mantra.
3. Flexibility: Rigidity in opinions about self and others creates stress. Step back. Accept. Surrender. Relax.
4. Strength: Times of uncertainty foster anxiety and fear. In reality, you are Satchitananda. Find freedom and strength deep within. Challenges are merely opportunities for self-assertion and detachment.
5. Karma. Our tendencies and weaknesses repeat themselves. We are confronted with the same problem until we recognize it and can free ourselves. Stress comes from this inner struggle: wanting to see the Truth and, at the same time, clinging to untruth.
