DESCRIPTION:How do we understand the emotional body? \nIn Ayurveda the mind begins in the heart\, reaches downwards into the gut and upwards into the brain. The connections are easy to see as seats of feelings\, instincts and sensation/thought. All our instincts and our rational thinking revolve around the mediating emotional state. In Vedic terms this is described as rasāvāda: the revealing of our Essence. \nAyurveda\n∙ Indian Holistic Medical System ∙ Practiced for over 5000 years ∙ Sister science to Yoga. ∙ Explains how our interrelationship with nature’s cycles\, rhythms and patterns affect our daily lives and how awareness can bring true health\, balance and wellness. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Arun Deva\n					DASc\, AYT\, E-RYT/500\, YT \n					Arun Deva\, DASc\, AYT\, E-RYT/500\, YTRx\, teaches yoga therapy and Ayurveda across the globe. Having started his studies as a child growing up in India\, he has made his home in Los Angeles for the past 37 years. Arun is the founder of Arunachala Yoga & Ayurveda and teaches Ayurvedic and Yogic lifestyle workshops\, writes articles for different peer reviewed publications and currently chairs the committee creating Standards for Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy for the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). \n					Facebook
