ONLINE Cultivate Contentment (5 days)

Monday, June 15 - Saturday, June 20 @ 7:00–8:30pm (skipping Friday)

ONLINE: This 5-session course will take place via Zoom. The link will be sent to registrants at least an hour before the first class.
Note that there is not class on Friday.

Description

What is your emotion of the day? Shock? Dread? Panic? Despondency? Curiosity? Optimism? Perhaps it changes day to day, minute by minute? Nothing you feel is wrong, you just may not want to wallow in the fearful end of the spectrum. Awareness and honesty will stand you on your feet in your experience. Stability comes from within, not from our external security blankets that are being torn to shreds.

Find supportive community as we discuss the challenges of this rocky, but transformative, time. Stepping into the unknown is unsettling, but we can do it. The confidence and creativity required is hiding right behind the fear.

Together, let's envision the world we want to see on the other side of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

There may be a couple of special guest appearances during the course!

Teacher

Swami Sivasankariananda, director of the Los Angeles Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, served as director of the San Francisco Center from February of 2015 to September 2019. She returns to LA where she lived for 20+ years. She completed her TTC at the Yoga Farm in 1997 and ATTC there in 2008. Swamiji has been on yatra in north and south India and Mount Kailas. She loves to teach and is particularly fond of the Bhakti Yoga practices. She took sannyas in 2017 and is a certified yoga therapist.
