Acharya Swami Sitaramananda

Acharya Swami Sitaramananda is a senior disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda and Acharya of the US West Coast centers and Ashram. She is also the Acharya of the Sivananda mission in Asia: Vietnam, Japan and China. She met Swami Vishnudevananda at the Val Morin Yoga Camp in 1981 and had served in the headquarters ashram in Canada for 6 years before Swamiji sent her to many different centers and ashrams, notably San Francisco center in 1989 and from 1995 as full-time director of Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, CA. Swami Sitaramananda has taught many international Teachers' Training Courses in California, Vietnam, Taiwan and India and is also teaching regularly at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Nassau, Bahamas.

She is the author of the Positive Thinking Manual, a compiler of Essentials of Yoga Practice and Philosophy translated in Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese and Swamiji Said: A Collection of Teachings by Swami Vishnudevananda in His Own Words. She is responsible for the Vietnamese translation of The Completed Illustrated Book of Yoga by Swami Vishnudevananda.



Swami Vashistananda

Swami Vashistananda comes from the Namboodri lineage in Southern India, Kerala which is one of the oldest and traditional priest lineages in all of India.  He was the personal priest of Swami Vishnudevananda, the great yoga master from India that started the International Sivananda Yoga Organization and has been a long-time teacher of bhakti and vedanta in the Sivananda organization ever since.  He has studied the vedic rituals and mantras since he was a young boy and graduated from vedanta school and was personally initiated by Swami Vishnudevananda.  He conducts daily rituals at the ashram to all the temples, shrines, and altars and does the arati every morning and evening at satsang. He has been at the Yoga farm since October 2014.

Swami Adi Parashaktiananda

Swami Adi Parashaktiananda is a dedicated Sadhak and Hatha Yoga practitioner and teacher, graduated from Sivananda Teachers Training Course in 2007 at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, CA. He took the first monastic vow from Sivananda lineage in 2011. He has been traveling yearly to Vietnam as Swami Sitaramananda's assistant and has been teaching the Hatha Yoga classes for the Teachers Training Course. He has also been traveling to Chengdu, China to help teach the Teachers Training Course there.  He also teaches a 7-day Hatha Yoga Sadhana course and the 14-day Sivananda Sadhana Intensive course, whose emphasis is on individual practice of pranayama.  He took sannyas vows in 2017 and received the name Swami Adi Parasahktiananda.

Swami Sivasankariananda

Swami Sivasankariananda, incoming director of the Los Angeles Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, served as director of the San Francisco Center from February of 2015 to September 2019. She returns to LA where she lived for 20+ years. She completed her TTC at the Yoga Farm in 1997 and ATTC there in 2008. Swamiji has been on yatra in north and south India and Mount Kailas. She loves to teach and is particularly fond of the Bhakti Yoga practices. She took sannyas in 2017 and is a certified yoga therapist.
