Gentle Yoga

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 1:00 –2:30 pm

Gentle Yoga is for those challenged by age or inactivity. The class includes instruction in basic Yoga postures to enhance range of motion, strength and balance. Poses are adapted and modified so the student can maintain a steady, comfortable posture. The class also includes deep relaxation to create a stress-free body and peaceful mind. Some classes also include a longer relaxation called Yoga Nidra

Therapeutic Yoga is for those who need basic Yoga postures modified due to illness, injury or limited flexibility. The focus is on bringing relief to the practitioner. Each class also includes deep relaxation.

Most Gentle/Therapeutic sessions are ‘community classes’ offered by donation.
