Yoga Nidra is the art of conscious deep relaxation that allows you to begin to experience the flow of prana in your physical and subtle bodies. You can then identify and release blockages to the flow of prana and ultimately, bring healing to the body and mind and expand consciousness. Marc Halpern (Siva), DC, is a chiropractor, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, and certified Sivananda Yoga teacher. Founder and President of the California College of Ayurveda, Dr. Halpern is the author of the popular book Healing Your Life: Lessons on the Path of Ayurveda and two textbooks. A leader in the field, he is also cofounder of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine and sits on the advisory boards of Light on Ayurveda Journal in the United States and the Journal of Research and Education in Indian Medicine in India.
