WHAT TO BRING

Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing that will be suitable for doing the yoga - Bring a yoga mat (if you have one) or towel, to place on the mats we provide.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FREE INTRODUCTION

Every month the Center provides this free introduction for anyone interested to learn about and experience a traditional Yoga practice. There is no pre-registration for the event, just come a few minutes early on the day.
It is also an opportunity to become familiar with our courses and workshops, and the peaceful way of life practiced here at the Center. This event is suitable for total beginners. Find out what yoga is and how it affects the body, mind and spirit.

*This a 2-1/2 hour workshop held at 1:00pm, the first Saturday of each month.*


PROGRAM SCHEDULE

1:00pm

Introduction to the Center and Yoga
A talk on the five principles for a balanced healthy lifestyle

2:00pm

One Hour Introductory Yoga Class
A 90-minute beginner's asana class, ending with an introduction to Meditation

3:30pm

Free Snack and Talk with the Teachers
Ask questions, learn about other programs at the center.
